Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Digg, the extension, daemon, website, and related services (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” includes it. You are responsible for having the right to capture and license data from the repositories you enable.

2. The Service

Digg captures your approved AI-coding sessions, removes secrets and personal data on your device before upload, lets you view/share/delete them, and, with your consent, licenses redacted sessions to AI labs as training data, sharing revenue with you. Features may change over time.

3. Your account & consent

You sign in to enroll and must keep your credentials secure. Capture only runs for repositories you consent to, and consent is recorded before data is collected. You may pause capture, unshare sessions, delete sessions, or remove the Service at any time.

4. Your content & the license you grant

As between you and Digg, you own your captured sessions. To operate the Service and the data marketplace, you grant Digg a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, redact, reproduce, create derivative works of (e.g. training-data formats), and sublicense the redacted sessions you consent to license, to data buyers. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that doing so does not violate any agreement (including employer or client agreements) or law. Do not enable capture for code you are not permitted to license.

5. Payments & payouts

• You earn points for each sellable session you contribute, a flat reward per session, credited to your balance. When your consented sessions are licensed to buyers, you receive 70% of the attributable revenue on top.
• Payouts are made in USDC on Base, withdrawable from $0.10. On-chain transactions are irreversible; you are responsible for the accuracy of your wallet address.
• Payouts may require identity verification (KYC/AML), sanctions screening, and tax documentation. We may withhold payouts where required by law or pending verification.
• You are responsible for any taxes on amounts you receive. Earnings depend on demand and are not guaranteed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload data you lack the right to license, or that infringes others' rights or violates law.
• Deliberately defeat redaction, or submit fabricated, automated, or low-quality data to inflate payouts.
• Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the Service, or attempt to access others' data.

We may remove data, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Third-party tools

Digg works alongside third-party coding agents (such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by their providers. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including Digg's software, design, and marks, is owned by Digg and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our marks or software except to use the Service as permitted.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. While redaction is designed to remove secrets and personal data, no automated system is perfect; you remain responsible for reviewing what you share and for not enabling capture on data you cannot license.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digg will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts we paid you in the twelve months before the claim or US$100.

11. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold Digg harmless from claims arising out of data you enable or license without the necessary rights, or your breach of these Terms or violation of law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or as required by law. Licenses already granted to buyers for data you consented to license may survive, per their terms; provisions that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
